It is impossible to view the exhibit of tlie Avonia Gramophone at the Winter Show without feeding distinct pride in the fact that such really high-class work can be turned out in New Zealand. For a long time past the public have relied upon imported musical instruments when good value was desired, but the Electric Products and Gramophones, Ltd., has demonstrated very plainly indeed that it is possible to produce in New Zealand the best on the markets of the world, and at a price which will withstand all competition. With the I Avonia for sale in every city and town •in the Dominion there is no reason why there should be any home without music. Of course, large cash outlay in the purchase of a machine is not always possible, but the company has overcome ', this dilliculty by instituting a system of time payments which enables persons of , very limited financial resources to enjoy ! the best music given to the world to-day. ;In the exhibit will be found machines
