When travelling from Okahukura to Taumarunui on a jigger this morning, Foreman Drummond, of the Railway Carpentry Works at Rangataua, collided with the goods train which leaves Taumarunui at 9-5 a.m. It is said there was a dense fog at the time and Drummond did not see" the train until it was almost on him. He received a broken, rib and suffered several abrasions.
