NEW EQUIPMENT COMING. Now radio broadcasting equipment for Auckland, is at present on its way to New Zealand, and is expected to reach this city about June 24, according , to a statement made by Mr. William Goodfellow, a director of the Radio Broadcasting Company of New Zealand,! Limited. Equipment for Christchurch,! which is aboard the same boat should! be landed in Christchurch about two • weeks later. An expert of the Western 1 Electric Company is now in Sydney and will arive in Wellington on June 2.5. He will come to Auckland immediately, and the new station here should be in operation about two or three weeks after the arrival of the equipment, while the Christchurch station should be in working order about a fortnight later. |
