Within recent years the ranye or securities on which trustees have been authorised to 'nd trust moneys has been considerably amplified, remarked Sir Georg-e FenwicK at ;ne annual meeting or Per-" petual in Dunedln last week, and he added: "Thu3 trustee may now deposit trust moneys in savin&s banks and take up the debentures of river boards, road boards, town boards, and electric power boards. Whether this enlargement is justified to its full extent I ao not now propose to discuss; but from a trustee's poim or view any reasonable and sare extenston or the modes in which trust moneys may be invested is apprecirtei*." ;
