OBITUARY.
SIR HENRY MORRIS. LONDON, June 13. The death has occurred of Sir Henry Morris, the noted surgeon, aged S2 years.— (A. and !N T .Z.) Sir Henry Morris was president of the Royal Society of Medicine from 1910 to 1912. From 1906 to 1909 he was president of the Royal College of Surgeons. He was also a founder and vice-presi-dent of the Imperial Cancer Research Fund, and was honoured by his professional colleagues in both America and France. He was examiner in surgery at the University of London and in anatomy at the University of Durham. Sir Henry published many medical works and was a writer of articles dealing with surgery and medicine. EARL OF DUNBAVEN.
LONDON, June 15. The death has occurred of the Earl of Dunraven, aged 85.— (A. and X.Z.) Windham Thomas WvndhamQuin. X.P.. C.M.G., P.C.. 0.8.E.* fourth Earl of Dunraven and Mount-Earl, was educated at Christchurch. Oxford. Lord Dunraven acted as war correspondent to the "Daily Telegraph" in the Abyssinian war of 1567. and in the Franco-Prus?ian war and siege of Paris, and saw service in the South African campaign. Tie owned about 40,000 acres of estates, and was a Senator of the Irish Free State. He was keenly interested in yatehing and racing. Lord Dunraven was the author of several publications:, his last book being "Past Times and Pastimes," published in 1022.
