MUNICIPAL APPOINTMENTS.
WELLINGTON CITY OFFICERS. TOWN CLERK AND ENGINEER. (By Telegraph—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Tuesday. From a large number of applications the Wellington City Council to-night appointed as Town Clerk Mr. J. R. Howard Roberts, at present assistant town clerk at Liverpool. Mr. G. A. Hart, sewerage engineer to the Leeds City Corporation, Yorkshire, was appointed city engineer.
