SEARCH FOR MISSING WOMAN. XO TRACE FOUND. (By Tclejrraph.—Tresis Association.) TAUMARUXUI, this day. Tlie police are still making inquiries into the disappearance of Mrs. R. Young, who has been missing since May 19. Detective J. Walsh, of Wanganui, has been in Taumarunui during the past fewdays making investigations. Many rumours have been current since the woman's disappearance but so far nothing tangible has come to light. On Saturday Detective Walsh and his party exploded pome shots in the Wanganui River at the spot where the woman is supposed to have entered it, but all efforts to find any trace of her have lieen without result.
