Two interesting views of a valley on the Ruapehu approach which has been entered recently after a lapse of forty years, the last party being the Government surveyors- Thermal action has been discovered at the source of the stream shown in the pictures, which clears up the mystery of the sulphur deposit in the Pokako Stream, which is crossed by the Main Trunk at Pokako.
