The Union Company's M.irama f,,r Sydney was delayed in order that an Australian theatrical party which was ~n board the Manaif. might connect. She was lying at the western side of the Central wharf, so the Ngapuhi was brought in to the berth on the eastern side, and the Sydney passengers had no difficulty in transferring their belongings. It was half-past ten when the Ngapuhi pulled in to the berth. There was no evidence of a shipwreck, and everybody seemed most cheerful.
