EX-KAISER'S MEMOIRS.

GERMANY AIX AGOG. I SHALL REIGN AGAIN." LONDON, June 11. The "Daily News" states that prominent Germans are apprehensively awaiting the publication of the ex-Kaiser's memoirs, which it is feared will result in a political crisis. It transpires that almost an open breach occurred between the ex-Kaiser and the ex-Crown Pi-inee in 1023 owing to the Monarchists demanding that the ex-Kaiser should abdicate in favour of the ex-Crown Prince in the event of the overthrow of the Republicans. The exKaiser thereupon secretly intrigued in Germany, with the assistance of Field-. Marshal" Ludendorff, with the object of splitting the Monarchists. The ex-Kaiser also refused to allow j the ex-Crown Prince and Monarchists to read the memoirs prior to their publication and this caused a fear 1 that the memoirs would include revelations ret irarding events which took place after the war. The ex-Kaiser had previously promised not to publish the memoirs. Monarchists burgled the printer's establishment and stole the rough proofs, which confirmed their suspicions.

The memoirs contained three suppressed chapters. The first, entitled •'I Shall Reign Again." detailed the activities of the Monarchists. The second declared that Marshal Hindenburg had accepted the Presidentship with the idea of assisting the ex-Kaiser to regain the throne. Tlie third, entitled "My Son's Perfidy," consisted of an astounding outburst • ajrainst the ex-Crown Prince. It is believed the memoirs accuse prominent Republicans of supporting the Monarchists.

Marshal Hindenburg, the ex-Crown Prince, and prominent Monarchists are making an effort to persuade the exKaiser to withdraw. If he refuses it is believed the Government will suppress the memoirs.— (Sydney "Sun."l
