The New Zealand Shipping Company advises that the Tongariro left London on Wcdnesdav with general cargo to discharge at Auckland, Wellington, Bluff and New Plvmonth. The vessel is due at Auckland on' July 17 and at Wellington a week later. KING MALCOLM DEPARTS. A departure from Auckland this morning was the King Line steamer King Malcolm, for New Plymouth. This vessel completed the discharge of the Anckland portion of her cargo of basic slag from Antwerp late yesterday and sailed early this morning "for the Taranaki port to dispose of the remaining cargo. THE DEVON. It is stated by the Federal Company that the Devon, which is at present unloading a cargo at the Wanganui roadstead, will leave that port on Monday for Lyttelton and Wellington. The Devon is due at Wellington on June 19, and is at present timed to leave the capital port for Napier, Waikokopu and Anckland on Jnne 22. She is to sail finally from this port on July 7 for London. Antwerp, Avonmouth, Liverpool, Manchester and Glasgow. MOVEMENTS OF COASTAL STEAMERS. T.s.s. Rimu will now leave for Whangarel next week on Monday, Wednesday and Friday at 9 a.m. Tho Ngapuhi will leave for Tauranga at her usual time, 7 p.m. On the Hoklanßa service, the s.s. Ngatlawa will leave Onehunga for Hokianga, Itngliui, Knwhla and Waikato Heads on Monday, at 2 p.m. The Mnngapal will leave for Waipn Marsdcn Point and Parua Bay on Monday at 3 p.m. * MESS TABLE GOSSIP. The Katoa is due at Auckland to-mor-row, and wUI berth at the Prince's wharf. The Walnul is also due to-morrow, and will berth at the Central wharf. The Kaitoa sailed from Onehunga this morning at 7 o'clock for Picton aad Nelson. It has been advised by Messrs. Watkin and Wallis that the Mako Is due to arrive at Auckland from Portland early this evening. She is timed to saU for all East Coast bays, Gisborne and Napier on Tuesday morning. KAURI FROM GEE LONG. Advice received by the Union Co. states that the steamer Kauri left Geelong, Victoria, last Thursday afternoon for Auckland. This vessel Is due about June 20. AORANGI AT SUVA. An arrival at Sura at 10 o'clock yesterday morning was the Royal Mail motor liner Aorangi, from Auckland. This vessel was to sail in the evening In continuation of her voyage to Vancouver, via Honolulu. TAEMUI FOB WELLINGTON. A cablegram received from Fayal, one of the Azores Islands, states that the Shaw, Savil] and Albion liner Tainni, which is en route from London to Wellington, passed the island on Thursday. This vessel left the Home port on June 4. THE TOFUA OX TUESDAY. Information received by the local office of the Union Company states that the Island steamer Tofua is due at Auckland next Tuesday with passengers, mails and a cargo of Island produce. The Tofua wiU berth at the Prince's- wharf. THE MAHENO. It has been announced by the Union Company that the steamer Maheno is about to enter the intercolonial trade, and is timed to leave Wellington on July 9 for Sydney. The Maheno will now leave Wellington and Auckland at 11 a.m. instead of 3 p.m. on sailing days. ULIMAROA FROM AUCKLAND. Due to arrive at Auckland about nest Tuesday morning, the Huddart-Par_er passenger steamer Ulimaroa, in a wireless messtage, stated that she left Sydney at one o'clock yesterday afternoon. The Ulimaroa has on board for this port passengers, mails and cargo. ARAWA ARRIVES. An arrival at Auckland this morning was the Shaw, Savill and Albion liner Arawa. from Wellington. At this port the Arawa is discharging the local portion of her cargo from London and Southampton. She is at present berthed at the Queen's wharf under the agency of L. D. Nathoa and Co., Ltd. TAURANGA SERVICE. The Northern Company advised last night that in view of the mishap to the Manaia, the Ngapuhi wiU leave for Tauranga at seven o'clock on Monday evening. The Clansman left for Tauranga last evening, and arrangements will be madet o-day in connection with the Whangarei sailings, in view of the dislocation caused through the diversion of the Ngapnhl. Tbe Claymore is due from Whangarei early this morning and will return at 9.30 p.m." to-morrow. DEATH OF CLYDE SHIPOWNER. A prominent Clyde shipowner has been removed by the death of Mr. Thomas Prentice, who was for many years head of the firm of Messrs. Prentice, Service sm paAiaoaj aopnoi,!
