A competitive examination, open to New Zealanders of either sex between the ages of 20 and 30 will shortly he held in London and in Wellington to fill a Vacancy in the Editorial Section of the International Labour Office, at the League of Nations Geneva. The qualifications required are: (1) University education or equivalent. (2i Thorough knowledge of French. {?>) Good • knowledge of economic and social questions, including Labour legislation. (4) A knowledge of foreign languages other than French, and experience in editorial work will be considered advantages. Candidates must be New Zealand born and must have received the greater part of their education in that country. They must be of good health. Salary: 11.000 Swiss-francs (£440) p*r annum (rising by annual increments of 400 francs to 14.000 francs) less pension contributions and other deductions, which at present amount to 7.6 per cent. The expenses of the journey of the successful candidate from his home to the place where the examination is held in New Zealand will be reimbursed, also the expenses of the journey from New Zealand to Geneva.
