TRIBUTES FROM ENGINEERS. Hny. W. EARNSHAW'S WORK. (Bγ Telegraph.--Pr&e Association.) WELLINGTON, this day. A large and representative gathering of member 3 of the New Zealand Marine Engineers' Institute assembled last evening, when the emblem of life membership was bestowed upon the Hon. W.! Earnshaw, M.L.C. A presentation was also made to Mr. ' Arnold Levestam, who is about to retire j after a lengthy and distinguished oarepr : of marine engineering. Mr. S. Galloway, in bestowins tho emblem of life membprship upon the Hon. j Earnshaw, made glowing reference to the yeoman work rendered by him for j the benefit of engineers generally.
