ONEHUNGA POULTRY.

SHOW OFZICIAIXY OPENED. ADDITIONAL AWARDS. The official opening of the ninth annual show of the Onehungd. Poultry Club took , place last evening, the Mayor of Onehunga, Mr. J. C. Covrell, performing the ceremony. Mr. W. J. Jordan. M.P., aleo spoke .and expressed his satisfaction at the 1 temporary removal of the customs duty ion wheat. Speaking as a fancier, his advice jto those who were not yet that way inclined wa», "better keep fowl;."' while to those who were already breeders ie was "keep better fowls." The show will remain open until nine o'clock this evening.
