All throe were charged that, on May 31, at Palmerston North, they did conspire to defraud the Postmaster-Generai of the sum of £15!). Hansen was also charged with making a false document, namely a Post Office withdrawal slip for £150, purporting to be signed by Mrs. Huggina, and uttering the same to the accused Smith, with intent that it should be acted upon as if it were genuine. Smith was charged with making out a false withdrawal slip for £l.i!) and uttering the same to DJuglas Sydney Comrie. The accused were committed to the Supreme Court.
