II Jones: Fprguson, West, Laylanil, Battersby. Home teams to be picked on green. PUKEKOHE CLUB'S ACTIVITIES. The following nominations have been received for the various offices in connection with the Pukekohe Bowling Club and as the number of candidates offering does not exceed the vacancies to be filled, they have been declared elected for the ensuing year:—President. Mr. C. Cooper: vice-presidents, Messrs. Jas. Pollock and F. A. Hosking; secretary, Mr. T. C. Thompson ; treasurer, Mr. W. Grandison : green superintendent, Mr. R. Higginson ; deputy, Mr. E. E. Ingpeii : executive, Messrs. F. Perkins, Jas. Crosbie, J. 11. Wehh, and E. F. Snell ; match committee. Messrs.' W. G. I'leydell, 11. J. Sumner, and C. K. Lusher. Following is a list of the winners of the competitions for the season which has just closed :—Championship singles Mr. H. V. Gribble ; B grade singles, Mr. \V. J. Short: first-year championship. Mr. 11. Burrows : A grade pairs, Messrs. E. E. Ingpen and J. Crosbie; the B grade pairs competition is not yet completed ; president's fours, Messrs. W. Maud, W. Grandison. 11. J. Sumner, A. C. Gill : vice-presidents' fours, Messrs. W. H. Bricknell, H. Burrows, R. Higginson, H. A. Stuart ; Anniversary Day tournament. Messrs. J. Miller, J. 11. Webb, J. Pollock, G. 11. Armstrong. WARKWORTH CLUB. The annual meeting of thp club was held on Monday night. The secretary. Mr. J. C. Mulliolland, presented a report and balancesheet showing that during the year the. club hud paid its way and still had a small credit balance on hand. The grounds had been fenced, the adjoining owners bearing nearly all the cost of same. A ladies' pavilion had been erected, a Tiedge planted, and various olhpr improvements made. During the year handicap an<7 championship pairs had been played, the winners beins:— Handicap. Mpssrs. J. F.wnrt and G. T. Civil (skip): championship. Messrs. J. 'Morrison and R. 11. Petterd (skip). Mr. Mulliolland, who has been secretary of the club since its formation, and was chielly instrumental in its establishment, handed in his resignation, as he will shortly leave the district. The resignation was accepted with regret, and Mr. Mulliolland was made a life member of the club. Officers were appointed as follows: Patron: Mr. W. Jones. M.P.: president. Mr. A. Warm: vice-presidents, Messrs. (i. Civil, B. M. Green and J. Morrison; secretary, Mr. S. Brakcnrig: greenkeeper, Mr. Thos. Ash ton.
