FAMOUS JERSEY HERD. (By Telegraph.—Own Scrvespondent.) HAMILTON, this day. A large cattle deal was brought to finality yesterday, when Mr. W. H. Miers, of Rototuna, Hamilton, took delivery of the entire Jersey Brae herd of purebred Jerseye from Mr. Tom Church, of Te Rapa. The Jersey Brae stud will find a new ■ home on one of the best stud farms in ' the Dominion, and it is Mr. Meirs' | intention to test the merits of the cattle ' both in the show ring and under test. \ A strong team will be shown at the next Royal Show. The total price given for the herd is not stated.
