Mr. William A. Horn sailed by the Aoranpi en route to Kiifr'.and. Sir Henry and Lady -lones (Hohart), left for Wellington by the Limited last evening. Mr. and Mrs. K. E. Stott returned by the Aorangi after a two months' holiday In Queensland. Mr. J. H. C. Bond, Dominion superintendent for the New Zealand Shipping Company, arrived at Auokland from Wellington by this morning's Limited express. Grand Hotel guests include Mr. L. Caughley (Wellington), Mr. IT. A. Taylor (Wanganui), Mr. W. Taylor (Dunedin), Mr. E. Martyn (Wellington), Mr. D. H. Anderson (Wellington), and Dr. McPherson (Waikato.) Messrs. Nicholls and Sterling, the oldest members of the staff of the Maple Furnishing Company, were made a presentation at a farewell gathering last evening. Mr. Angus Bunting was a passenger by the Aorangi, which sailed for Vancouver on Tuesday. He will be away some time on business in America and Canada. Among the guests staying at the Star Hotel are Mr. and Mrs. J. E. Bridge (Melbourne), Mr. and Mrs. R. R. Sword (Christchurch), Mr. W. E. Dixon (Hamilton), Mr. H. .7. Wynne (Wellington), Mr. George Halliday (Wellington). Mr. T. Bassett and Mr." J. H. Stubbs (Aratapu). Staying at the Central Hotel are Mr. W. F. Backhouse (Sydney), Mr. F. F. Foord (Dunedin), Mr.'c. R- Clark (Wellington), Mr. G. Fitzgerald (Tologa Bay), Mr. J. Fitzgerald (Tologa Bay), Mr. and Mrs. Harding (Dargaville).
