BUS REGULATIONS.

MEETING OF SUB-COMMITTEE. Several motor bus proprietors were received at a meeting of the sub-commit-tee of the No. 1 Licensing Committee this morning. The meeting was not open to The Press. It ie understood that those proprietors who waited on the sub-com-mittee placed their applications for licenses on the table, and that they were informed that before the full committee could grant licenses, a certificate would have to be produced from a Public Works engineer to the effect that their buses complied with the requirements of the new regulations. Insurance matters would also have to be attended to. It is stated that the bus proprietors who discussed matters with the sub-committee were the owners of vehicles plying on routes not in competition with the trame.
