A letter from the Bay of Islands Swordfish Club was received at the last meeting of the council of tbe Wellington ( hamber of Commerce, in which It was stated that inquiries were beim* made to see if the swordfish caught there could not be frozen and sent *to the I nitccl States. The secretary nf the club had been informed by Mr Zane tjrey that the s-.vorrllish thrown away at the Bay ot Islands ] ast wa „ on wflß • food wasted. The chamber decided to await further particulars before taking any action. *
