VIENNA'S BEER BOYCOTT.

OX THE WATER WAGON". VIENNA, April 27. Vienna is going through the novel experience of being "on the water wagon." Owing to the beer boycott, which was threatened last week, practically no restaurant or cafe in town haa served beer as a protest against what the proprietors consider an unjustifiable increase in the price. On Sunday night every cafe was filled with crowds, drinking up the available supplies and preparing for the drought. Practically all the restaurants joined in the boycott, but the Owners' Association heard of a few saloons intending to break the boycott, and immediately took measures to prevent this by paying the unemployed good wages to mount guard and ilriuk cheap wine.
