DEATH'S TIME-TABLE.
SUICIDE'S HOCR-BY-HOUR RECORD Of LAST NIGHT OF LIFE. Impressions of approaching death written in his own blood hare been left by a man named Auguste Brunet. aged 40, who had an incurable disease, and who committed suicide at his home in Paris. He filled his stove with anthracite, ana so arranged it that the fumes escaped slowly. Then, lying on his bed, he wrote as follows:— '•10.30 p.m.—l begin to feel a headache. "11 p.m.—l am now breathing the carbonic acid jas, but have still all mj faculties. '■11.30 p.m.—The death is long in coming." At this point, to hasten the end, Brunet ent his wrist with a knife. The rest of the message is written in his blood. "I am getting weaker. An enjoyable feeitng of rest pervades a1L"12.15 p.m.—Death ought to be sweet, ana my poor, wretched body awaits it wit Sou: fear. I hear someone sinsing. I also feei "1 a.m. — I have opened wider the woanas in my wrist. The clocks are striking. My little Martha, forgive mc." Here the message breaks off. Previously Brunet had written a request that his bodj be giTen to the Academy of Medicine.
