RIVAL TEAMS.

For two seasons past there has been keen rivalry .between a Devonport bowling team, comprising Buchanan, Connell, Minchen and Wat«on, an- a team skipped by Hall, from the Stanley Club. This season the teems had won an equal number of games, and this week a final match was played on the Stanley green to see who would gain the supremacy. On the 14th head the score was 11 all. which showed the keenness of the play, but Stanley eventually won by j 22—16.

GROCERS AT ONEHUNGA The wholesale and retail grocers were ' entertained yesterday by the president. Mr. F. C. iMarks, and the members of the Onehunga Bowling Club, when they played their last match of the season.
