RIVAL TEAMS.

For two seasons past there has been keen rivalry .between a Devonport bowling team, comprising Buchanan, Connell, Minchen and Wat«on, an- a team skipped by Hall, from the Stanley Club. This season the teems had won an equal number of games, and this week a final match was played on the Stanley green to see who would gain the supremacy. On the 14th head the score was 11 all. which showed the keenness of the play, but Stanley eventually won by j 22—16.

C. iMarks, and the members of the Onehunga Bowling Club, when they played their last match of the season. S. Klrkpatrick and Co.. Ltd.. ot Velson. They Just held their own on the day, winning two games and a tie, so they sUil retain their former lead of three games, and arrangements wHI be made for a cere* monial presentation of the cup at a social in a month or two.
