AUCKLAND TO THE FORE.
A perusal of the annual report of the Director of the Dairy Division on semiofficial testing among Jerseya during last year discloses the interesting fact that three out of the five Dominion class leaders in butterfat production were bred and owned in the Auckland province. As regards the other two cows, both were bred in Taranaki. The three Auckland class leaders are as follow: — Mr. G. E. Yelehich's (Waiuku) Keston Flower, 094.281b fat, junior-two-year-jold; Mr. W. J. CfrVnoweth's (Hamilton 1 | Marshlands - Stylish Princess, 715.751b fat, senior two-year-old; Mr. A. Christie's (TanekahaJ Loo's Queen. <f12.321b fat, three-yeaf-old. Marshlands Stylish Princess changed hands last month, being purchased fey. -Mr. \Y, -Mean, of "Walton, at Mr. Ohynoweth's dispersal sale, for 250 guineas.
