KARANGAHAPE BUSINESS LEAGUE.

At yesterday's meeting of the Karangahape Road Business Men's Promotion League, held in Nairn's tea-rooms, there was a good* attendance, the president, Mr. M. J. Bennett, occupying the chair. The speaker of the day was the Rev. Stanley Morrison 1 , who spoke on - "Hie Community World." He stressed the urgent need for the development of what he described as the communal spirit which he described as a gift from God. He outlined the underlying causes of discontent amongst Asiatic peoples, and emphasised the need for a better understanding withthe Eastern races. At the conclusion a Tiearty vote of thinks was unanimously carried. Mr. Asher, accompanied by Miss Asher, sang 'Sailor's Paradise." '. ■ -
