MILD AUTUMN. ASSISTS YIELD. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) NEW PLYMOUTH, this day. The mild autumn experienced in North Taranalti up to a week or so ago is reflected in the production of butterfat, which, on the returns of produce passed through the Taranaki Producers' freezing works at Moturoa, is now only .05 per cent behind the same period of last season. There are seven weeks to go until the end of the official season, but with colder and more wintry weather now being experienced, it is hardly likely the comparison will be materially altered.

For the period tinder review, June 30, | 1925, to May 8, 1920, compared with tfie j same period of the previous season, there has been a decrease of 9.8 per cent in the amount of butterfat made into butter and an increase of 7.8 per cent in the amount of fat manufactured into cheeie. Shipments made since April 10 total 19,034 boxes of butter and 14,480 crates of cheese. Space has been allotted up to •Tune 2 for 10,521 boxes of butter and 18,007 crates of cheese.
