WRONGFUL RETAILING.
i "PRIME CANTERBURY.". That "Prime Canterbury" Is still a popular description with meat dealers in Great Britain was recently demonstrated, when an official of 'the X.Z. ileat Producers' Board in London purchased Ayrshire lamb as Canterbury. The question of a prosecution was gone into, Lut it was considered that under the Merchandise Marks Act it would be necessary to produce an invoice or ii ■ description in writing, and this apparently was not available. It is understood that the Act may he amended shortly, so that it will be less difficult to obtain a prosecution when fraudulent descriptions have been given.
