The question of a prosecution was gone into, Lut it was considered that under the Merchandise Marks Act it would be necessary to produce an invoice or ii ■ description in writing, and this apparently was not available. It is understood that the Act may he amended shortly, so that it will be less difficult to obtain a prosecution when fraudulent descriptions have been given.
