SCHOOL SPORTS.
SEDDON TECHNICAL COLLEGE. A SUCCESSFUL GATHERING. Held under advantageous weather conditions, and with a record entry list-to ensure the success of the gathering, tne annual sports of the Seddon Memorial Technical College, at the Domain yesterday were a conspicuous success in every way. Urged on by the vigorous barracking of the different houses which they represented, the various competitors set a high standard of competition during the afternoon, culminating in a brilliant rup in the half mile championship by K. Young, which clipped three-fifths of a second off the old record for the event, thus setting a new mark of 2.19 2-5. Young, a fine stamp ,of all-round athlete, won the championship with 17 points. Second came K. Buckley with 10 points, and A. Keymer, A. Blow, C, Jones, and J. Mulligan each registered three points. The junior championship was won by E. Dyer with 18 points, and then came C. Palmer with 8, and G. Dixon 6. The girls' senior championship was won by M. Patrick, and the Junior championshin resulted 4n a tie. between three competitors, P. Gee, D. Morgan, and E. Freeman.
