YACHTING.

CLOSING OF THE SEASON. ALL CLUBS TAKE PART. The official closing of the yacht racing season will take place on Saturday, when a series of cruising and harbour races will be held under the auspices of the Auckland Yacht and Motor Boat Association. All races will start off the King's wharf, the larger boats going to Islington Bay and the smaller classes competing over the harbour course round the Sandspit beacon and Sesolution buoy. The clubs taking part are the Royal N.Z. Yacht Squadron, Akarana Yacht Club, Ponsonby Cruising Club, Victoria Cruising Club, Devonport Yacht Club. Richmond Cruising Club, Takapuna Boating Club, and the N.Z. Power Boat Association. Entries ror all clubs close to-morrow evening at the usual places.
