DAIRY PRODUCE. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) WELLINGTON, Monday. Mr. T. C. Brash, secretary or the New Zealand Dairy Produce Board, reports having received the following cable from the London office of the board dated April 9:— The butter market is quite, hut firm. Quotations: New Zealand, 174/ to 176/; Australian, 172/; Argentine, 150-/ to 160/; Danish, 184/. There is a large increase In Danish production, and most of it is coming on the English market. Cheese is quoted at 96/ to 97/. The market is quiet. Tlie New Zealand Producers' co-operative Marketing Association's weekly cabled market report rrom London, dated April 9, states:— . The butter market is steady. Quotations: New Zealand 172/, seconds 164/ to 168/, unsalted 174/ to 176/; Australian, 170/ to 174/; Argentine, 148/ to 162/; Danish, 182/; Dutch, 174/ to 176/; Esthonian, 170/ to 172/; Siberian; 158/ to 164/. The estimated stocks or New Zealand-held butter are 900,000 boxes. The cheese market is weak. Quotations: New Zealand, white, 95/ to 96/; coloured, 96/ to 97/; Australian, 93/ to 96/; Canadian,. old season's, 106/ to 112/. HIGH COMMISSIONER'S CABLE.
