PINEAPPLE CANNING AGREEMENT- 1

The Fi£i Goremxzeziz coTitracts to.. plant or cause to be planted and bring to maturity 75 acres of pineapples. The company will provide and erect in Fiji the canning plant neeesaary to can the produce of the aaid 75 acres, and also provide all canning materials and expert canning staff. All plant and materials required to be introdaeed into Fiji shall be passed dtity free, and any plant exported from Canada, and subsequently reimported shall be recommended by the Fiji Government to the Canadian Government to be readmitted duty free
The Fiji Government shall erect all neeeaaary buildings, and npon such site aa 13 mutually agreed tipon, and also erect any plant which can be so erected ■without importing material or experts. Fiji Government to arrange for supply of steam for cooking. The reetilta of the canning to be pooled, and if there be any loss, such to be eqnally sWed by both' parties, j Unleaa otherwise ramnallj- Agreed the experiment shall close with" the marketing of the first crop.
