Albert Edwin Robinson, whose parents live ill Auckland, was burned to death this morning in a fire at a private hotel at Manunui. The totalisator at Ellerslie on Saturday handled £86,240 10/, which was £13,566 10/ less than on the opening day last year, when, however, eight races were run.
