SWIMMING.
PARNELL CLUB'S RACES.
Two club races were held by the I'arnell Swimming Club at the Parnell Baths on Saturday, and attracted quite a fair attendance. Weather conditions were ideal and sooil entries were received. Hesults: —
;><> Yards Combined Junior Boys and Oirls" Handicap.—Miss D. Mngee. scr.. 1: •I. Ma gee, 3s, 2 : Miss M. Nolan. 7s. 3. Miss Magee proved too good for her opponents and caught the limit swimmers with 20 yards to go and siiurted iv to win by a yard.
i>6 Yards Open Handicap. —Skinner, 4s, 1 : Withers. 4s, 2 ; Colebrook. 4s. ."J. The ten competitors were -wiill bunched at the half-way mark, and then the three placed men forged ahead, Skinner setting the verdict by a touch.
