HOODED MAN HUNT.
« An unknown attacked Mr. Thomas Evans, jun., a well-known Sully (Barry) farmer. Mr. Evans was found wandering aimlessly round the village at midnight bleeding from ten wottnd3 In the head and with his clothing plastered with mud. He waa sent to hospital in a critical condition. For a brief time he regained consciousness sufficiently to say that outside his cowsheds an unknown man rushed upon him from behind, dealing him a heavy blow on the head. A_ he fell he saw a tall hooded man with an upraised hammer in his hand. A muffler was the only clue to the man' 3 identic}-,
