ANNUAL PICNIC.
TAKAPTJNA FERRY CO. The annual picnic* of the Takapuna Tramways and Ferry Co.. Ltd.. was hell yesterday at Home Bay, Motutapu. There was an attendance of between SOO and TOO neonle. Sports programmes were provided, both for the adults and for the children, and every child present received a toy. Fruit and sweets wera also freely distribute"'., both on the island and on the steamer Lake Takapuna. going and returning. The Takapuna Municipal Band was in attendance, and rendered a pro-ramme of music, which was greatly appreciate I !•>- all. both on the ferry steamer an 1 nz Home Bay. Th* picnic was a decidedly successful one in all respects, everyone present having a most enjoyable day.
