OBITUARY.
SIXTY YEARS COLONIST. MRS. G. M. WYNYARD. One who had been associated with Auckland from the early days, Mrs. G. M. Wynyard, died at her residence, "Moor End," Gladwin Road, One Tree Hill, at the advanced age of 84 years. Mrs. Wynyard was born at Cape of Good Hope in 1842, being a daughter of Major J. H. England. In 1864 she was married to Mr. Robert McDonald Wynyard, youngest son of Major-General R. H. Wynyard, C.8., of the 58th Regiment, who was acting Governor of New Zealand prior to the arrival of Governor Gore Brown. W 7 ith the exception of a trip to England in 1901, Mrs. Wynyard resided 60 years in the Auckland Province. A lady of l warm-hearted, kindly disposition, Mrs. W r ynyard was highly esteemed by her many friends. The following children survive:—Messrs. R. EL and M. H. Wynyard, of Auckland; J. G. MR. THOMAS WRIGHT. An! old and highly respected resident of Auckland passed away at Herne Bay on Thursday last, in the person of Mr. Thomas Wright. Deceased was in his seventy-second year. He was born at the Albert Barracks in 1854, where his father, the late Mr. John Wright, of the Royal Engineers, was* then stationed. After several years spent in Fiji, Australia and on the North American coast, Mr. Wright returned to Auckland. He filled the position of foreman at several sail-making establishments, and later entered business in this city on his own account. He was well known among local seafaring folk. Mr. Wright retired from business some years ago through continually failing health. He leaves a widow, four sons (among them Mr. Don. Wright) and five daughters. The interment, which was of a private nature, took place yesterday.
MR. D. B. WATERS.
(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, this day. The death is announced of Mr. D. B. Waters, aged 55, mining engineer and professor at the School of Mines, Otago University. He served in the Great War as major in charge of the Tunnelling Corps.

(By Telegraph.—Press Association.) NELSON, Friday. The death is anno....ced of Mr. Andrew Miller, a well-known merchant. He was G3 years of age.
