COMMERCIAL TRAVELLERS.
CONFERENCE IN ADELAIDE. (Received 2.30 p.m.) ADELAIDE, this day. At the annual conference of the United Commercial Travellers' Association of Australia, the New Zealand Association complained its certificates were not recognised by railways, shipping companies or hotels in Australia, though Australian certificates were recognised by those organisations in the Dominion. Reciprocity was requested. A motion was carried to provide, in Hie event of failure to obtain recognition of Xew Zealand certificates by the transport authorities that the matter should be left to the executive committee. The annual \report showed a membership of 15,816. Assets totalled £362,374, and £11,257 was paid in benefits.-—(A, and N.Z. Cah'le.)
