SYDNEY, March 23.. j There was a tragic sequel to a family ! quarrel at Smith's Creek, near Murwillumbab... j Alexander Strong, aged 57, is said to \to have threatened the members of his I family. Thereupon his son, Bruce Strong, 1 aged 26, is alleged to have fired two shots from a rifle at his father, who was killed. The son was arrested and charged I with murder. In a statement to the i police he said he had fifed in self-defence. (A. and N.Z.)
