Evidence of the value of newspaper advertising is contained in a statement concerning Christmas gramophone record sales issued by the Columbia Company. During December the record number of 1,650,000 discs were manufactured in the London factory and delivered to the trade—nearly a quarter of a million more than during December, 1924.
