WAIPA ASSOCIATION. (From Our Own Correspondent.) TE AWAMUTU, Wednesday. The annual meeting of the AValpa Hockey Association was held last night, Mr. !». A. Empßon (president) presiding. Mr. Empson said he would not seek reelection as president. The election of officers resulted: —Patron, Mr. D. S. Reid, M.P. (re-elected); president. Mr. G. O. Jourdam: vice-presidents, Messrs. C. J. Spiers, J. T. North, A. J. Nation, D. McArthur and G. Pinch, sen.; secretary and treasurer, Mr. A. Finch; auditor, Mr. W. McGtrern (re-elected): delegate to Auckland Association, Mr. I*. C. Kent, subject to his approval: Grounds Committee, Mesers C. Davis and A. Finch. It was decided to form a ladies' association if sufficient support is forthcoming.
