ECONOMY AT HOME.
BILL IN THE COMMONS. (Received 3 p.m.) LONDON, March 10. The eagerly awaited Economy Bill has been introduced by Mr. Winston Churchill in the House of Commons. At present it does not indicate the extent of savings anticipated, but a comprehensive preamble mentions provisions reducing charges on public funds, increasing funds to meet such charges by an amendment of law relating to health and unemployment insurance, registration of electors, holding of elections, education, bankruptcy, companies' winding up schemes, and certain other fees. The Postmasters Bill was read a first time. (Renter.)
