CUSTOMS REVENUE.

INCREASE IN CHRISTCHURCH.

(By Telegraph. - Press Association.) CHRISTCHURCH, Sunday. Not since September and October, 1920, have the Customs returns collected in Christchurch for any month exceeded £130,000, but in February the net revenue collected was no less than £131,530, which was £(30,526 more than in January. The total heavy imports last month were due mainly to the disorganisation of shipping by the seamen's strike, which delayed several large cargoes of motor cars and drapery. The beer duty collected last month was £7008, as against £7546 for the corresponding month of 192").
