FATALITY IN BATHS.

YOUNG MAN DROWNED. (By Telegrapt. —Press Association.) DUNEDIN,. Friday. Norman Bayley, aged 22 years, who resided with his parents in Maclaggan Street, was drowned to-day in the V.M.C.A. baths. For some time the deceased had been learning to ewim and was able to swim the' full length of the baths. Apparently he went into -the ibaths While the custodian was away, at lunch and was seized with cramp. At about 3 p.m. the deceased's clothes were found. The baths were emptied and the body was located. Various means of resuscitation weTe attempted but without avail.
