The Hon:,.? of Commons .laughed nt the 8-pectaclo oi Mr. Saklatvala, the Communist member for Battersea. carrying six heavy bundles, two of which were, slung from his neck, to the clerk's tabic. He explained that thej- were the signatures of 300,000 citizens, including 100 Commoners, being men and women of all parties, drawing the attention of the House to the miners and the members of the Communist party who are imprisoned, and praying the House to ask His Majesty to use his prerogative* and release them.— (Reuter.)
