POINTS SYSTEM FAVOURED. AIX TO START IN FOUR RACES. THREE BOATS IN THE FIFTH. (By Telegraph.—Press Association.) DUNEDIN, Monday. At a meeting of the Dominion Yacht- ! ing Council to-night it was decided to tail tbe fourth Sanders Cup race tomorrow, starting at 10.30 a.m.. and tbe fifth (if necessary ion Wednesday, i starting at 11 a.m. Mr. E. J. Kelly, of Auckland, raised the cjnestion of conducting future Sanders Cup contests. He advocated a points system and moved a resolution i to the effect that it be a reeommenda- i tion to the next Dominion council that I all competitors be alloweel to start in I four races on the points system anel ] that tlie fifth and final race be sailed between tbe three boats obtaining the best aggregates, and the winner of that 1 race be the winner of the Sanders Cup. The recommendation was favourably spoken of by most delegates, and was | carried unanimously.Mr. R. Bragg, of Southland, said his ' province would build another 14-footer j when assured that it was able to get an exact replica of the Rona class. At the present time lie maintained these boats differed, and he advocated that the Dominion council should secure master moulds. No action was taken by the council. TO-DAY'S RACE DELAYED.
