When they- ■got rid of Parnlell the first time for 118, and the latter had to follow on, the outright win looked certain. But B. Badeley came to light in a forceful innings of 154 and the Others supported him well, with the result that only four wickets fell 'for 276 runs, leaving Shore to win on the first innings.
