FIRE BRIGADE CONCERT. The Onehun?a Volunteer Fire Brigade has decided to send a team or five men to lMin»din to take part in the annual Fire Brigades.' competition, to be helil iheiv next March. In order to assist in raisin? the necessary Hinds to cover the mam's expenses, estimated at about £100. a smoke concert was hold on Satiinlav night in the Orphans' Hall, and attended by -.'OO guests. Filnier. and J. r.rant. They will leave for Dunedin on February 25. " The contest opens on the 2nd of March, and will last for four day . Mr. 0. A. risborne, of Onehnnga, will also attend the function, as he Is the treasurer and a life member or the United Fire Brig-ados' Association.
