Kathleen Robinson, a 10-year-old Swindon girl, who is going to New Zealand unaccompanied on the Athenic to join her parents, will long remember the exciting start of the journey. She and her guardian missed the train I from London, and found that the next: reached Southampton five minutes after ' the Athenic was due to sail. i The railway officials telephoned the ship, whose departure was delayed till Kathleen was aboard.— (A. and N.Z.) =====
