THE REAL ARMAGEDDON.

(To tbe Editor.) Sir.—T note that "Allenby of Armageddon' , is paying New Zealand a visit. The writer trusts that the people will not be deceived by this title into imagining that the great prophetic fight has eventuated. Armageddon is in Palestine, sure enough, and Viscount Allenby might well have ridden over the plain, where so many fights have already taken place. But before the great day of Revelation. 19th chapter, takes place, three very great incidents are marked out, in order to enlighten those of understanding that the light of Armageddon is near at ham.. Firstly, there is the production of the man-child, of Revelation. 12th chapter, who is to rule all nations "with a rod of iron."' Secondly, there is the mighty earthquake, of Revelation, 16th chapter; and thirdly, there must eventuate the destruction of that great city, known in Scriptures as Babylon. Since these three great incidents have not yet taken place, to our knowledge, it follows that Armageddon is still a future proposition. —I am, etc., J. R. 1). CYRUS. [J. Oracie makes the same deduction from Revelations.]
