THE KATIKATI FATALITY.
I • IBINNED UNDER CAR. (By Telegraph.—Own Correspondent.) WAIHI, this day. An inquest was held yesterday after-1 ! noon at Katikati by the Coroner. Mr. W. .j M. Wallnutt. on the body of Douglas B. I j Pollock, aged _7. who was found dead!, jtinder his motor car early that morning.) I Evidence showed that deceased was: :! employed by the Armstrong, Whitwonhi Company at Aongatcte. He left the . residence of Mr. A. Baxendine. where he j resided, at 7 o'clock, for work. His car j ran against the side of ;- cutting and - turned over, pinning deceased under-j ncath. When released he was found j 1 j dead. i : I Deceased wa= a returned soldier, whose " j parents reside at Levin. ' '■ The Coroner's verdict was that death > I was due to asphyxia from pressure on the I '; larynx. j
